General George S. Patton School District 133 is entering the second part of the school year with much enthusiasm and focus. We are continuing to concentrate our efforts on providing the best possible education for our students. Success in Reading and Math are essential for our students as we move closer to meeting the state standards.
This year we are fortunate to have acquired some of the most current technology to assist our teachers and students in this endeavor. The staff has incorporated smart boards along with laptops into all subject areas. It is quite encouraging to see our educational environment keep pace with the many technological resources that help us advance our goals and mission.
We should all be proud of what we're accomplishing as a community of stakeholders in our school district. As we continue, throughout the school year, let's be reminded that the success of an individual is not measured by one test score, but rather by a combination of influences such as perseverance, social development, patience, respect for self and others, and many other attributes that compel one to be a giver to society.
