Welcome to Preschool at General George S. Patton School!

Our preschool classroom is a joyful place where curiosity, creativity, and confidence grow every day! Through hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and meaningful conversations, our young learners discover the world around them while building strong foundations for kindergarten and beyond. Students engage in music and movement, create in the art center, build in the block area, explore science concepts, and develop friendships through dramatic play and collaborative activities. We encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, and express themselves while strengthening early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional skills.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program serves children ages 3–5 years old through the Preschool for All (PFA) grants provided by the Illinois State Board of Education. Monthly screenings are held at General George S. Patton School for enrollment into the program. If you are interested in scheduling a screening, please call the school at (708) 841-2420 or check the registration page  for more information.

At Patton Preschool, little learners grow into confident explorers while families and educators work together to support every child’s success!
